1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the MyBizPoint application (“the Application”), operated by Makipoint LLC, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

2. Service description

MyBizPoint is an operational management application for small and medium businesses. The Application is used to manage projects, contractors, invoices, payments, and to sync financial information with QuickBooks Online.

3. Authorized use

Access to the Application is granted only to users that the workspace owner explicitly authorizes. Each user is responsible for keeping their access credentials confidential.

4. QuickBooks Online integration

The Application integrates with QuickBooks Online through OAuth 2.0. When an authorized user connects a QuickBooks account, the Application obtains access tokens to read and write financial data (customers, invoices, expenses, payments, bank balances) according to the granted permissions. Tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are never shared with third parties.

5. Data ownership

All data entered into or synced through the Application is owned by the workspace owner. The Application processes that data exclusively for the operational purposes of the business.

6. Limitation of liability

The Application is provided “as is” without express or implied warranties. Makipoint LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of the Application, including discrepancies in data synced from third-party systems.

7. Changes

These Terms may be updated periodically. The “Last updated” date indicates the current version. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
